Drinks with Uncle Paul
We met Paul at Liverpool street Station (there were lifts at St Pancras and Liverpool Street) for drinks in Devonshire Square. It was lovely and ‘trendy’. Just the sort of place that I would have gone before I was pregnant. It was all a bit different now. People barged past the pram on the tube to get a seat and at the terrace bar we couldn’t access the main area because of stairs.
The wine was lovely and the view dramatic but when it came to changing Sienna’s nappy the disabled toilet was filled with electrical equipment so I had to change her on the floor of one of the cubicles – not ideal.
