Down to our last three jars of homemade jam…

One gooseberry, one raspberry and one strawberry. Homemade jam tastes soo much fruitier I can’t bring myself to go back to the shop bought equivalents. We need to stretch this out until we have grown enough fruit to make some more.

You’d think all jams were just fruit and sugar but when I looked at a couple in the supermarket recently they had all sorts of additions. Extra sweeteners, flavouring, flavour enhancers, gums, preservatives, colourings etc. maybe that’s why fresh homemade stuff tastes soo good! No nasties just pure fruit.
