I’m running out of jars!!!!
Whilst I was digging and weeding on my plot yesterday my mother was walking my littlest lady around the allotments in her pushchair. Never one to miss out on something tasty looking, my mum spied a beautiful hedgerow of black jewels. She just to happened to have a carrier bag in her handbag and so set about picking a mighty haul while baby slept!
I’ve now made: blackberry leather, blackberry jam and blackberry cordial with a few berries stored in the freezer for smoothies and mixing with yoghurts.
There are more to be had though so I shall be making a few crumbles next.
