Amy Cuddy (social psychologist and associate professor at Harvard Business School) revealed in her 2012 TED Talk, how “power posing” creates actual changes to your brain. Studies have shown doing such poses, even for as short as two minutes, increases testosterone by 20% and lowers the stress hormone cortisol by 25%. Wow!
Since her talk, countless numbers have proven just how right she is. An article released last week by the New York Times has brought these findings front and center.
